Survival Float

Survival Float

Infants 8 months to 15 months, or not walking, learn a roll back from face down to face up to independently float. This takes about 16 to 20 lessons, or 4 to 5 weeks, with no vacations, illness and a child with no developmental delay.

Lessons are one-on-one 10 minutes a day four days a week. All lessons are performance-based, not time. If your instructor sees an infant becoming fatigued, the lesson is over for the day.

Parents/caregivers observe from the pool deck. Your instructor will tell you a few days a head of time when you are in the pool to learn to work with your child.
